We will have a cooler with water and I was thinking of packing some bandanas/cloths to use for cooling. I'm just frustrated that people won't take a trip unless conditions are ideal.

Ok. I went on Amazon and ordered some cheap folding hand fans that I can pass out as needed.

And those will make some nice memento; just have them in a raffle at the end. (Or keep them for the next trip! Temps are not going down in the foreseeable future!)

meltwater from a cooler is the best - one bandana aound the neck, and another around the head, including the tips of your ears, then find shade and any sort of breeze - experience from being on location in Ft. Lauderdale in late May.
