for running: 153bpm was definitely too slow, 173bpm was definitely too fast. 160 was okay but still felt a little slow. 166 was pretty good but maybe a tad too fast (only once I get tired..?) so like... 163-165 is the vision perhaps

lumpfren
if I wanted to make a playlist or something this is an annoying range because a lot of good dnb, hardcore, hitech psy etc sits at 170+ and slowing something down always makes it sound a little shittier because of how stretching audio works. and then speeding things up, I could do but I just don't know of very much music around 140-160, and below that the

lumpfren
speed up would sound pretty substantial, probably. there is some good speed house and hard trance and stuff in that range if I dig through what I've listened to though. I'm sure a good playlist from what I know is very doable

lumpfren
I wish I could sort my downloaded songs by bpm like you can do in osu lmao

lumpfren
Ok I can slow things down too though. I am listening on shitty 30 dollar bluetooth earbuds while moving around and also I think I punctured the right one's diaphragm at some point because it doesn't sound right anymore and I mainly hear it through the left here. the audio quality is not really an issue lol

lumpfren
that should be plenty for a while

lumpfren
the camellia ones are all out of key because i didnt shift according to 2^(x/12) powers to just get a consistent tempo instead and it sounds so weird, they say ur understanding of musical pitch is relative and that's largely true but I still feel like I can tell

lumpfren
ok but fuck running rn its stepmania time

lumpfren
wait oh shit a lot of nekomata master songs wouldve been good for this. noting This (writing hand emoji )

lumpfren
fuck 165 feels so much faster when you're tired

lumpfren
it's very doable, good speed actually, but wow I can't remember the last time I ran like that. staying in time turns out to be an excellent moment-to-moment motivator to run at a tiring pace rather than just lazily slow jog

lumpfren
camellia music is maybe a little bit overstimulating for running purposes but it works

lumpfren
god running sucks
