Work has been super crazy busy because the ceremony and banquet is Tuesday. And Worrying over Mom because yesterday she had cataract surgery.

Re Mom - She is doing better. She kept reassuring me she'd be fine walking from my office to her appointment down the block just fine.

but I still worry.

Apparently with cataract surgery these days they can insert a lens that fixes your vision. So she had them adjust it so she could see far without her glasses, and she'll only need reading glasses after they do the left eye in a month.

(They didn't do both at the same time because they wanted to make sure her right eye healed and was okay first, which I appreciate.)

I hope she heals well!
