[No such thing as ethical consumerism, temu] I have a moral quandry. In the viking community there is a lot of people who make and sell stuff at markets. And I know of some that source parts from temu and encourage others to do the same.
"Hey, I just learned this, you mentioned that you bought from them so just in case you didn't know, too-" like, if it's possible for you, put yourself in the same boat and saying it should be fine
Agreed with all of this. I basically stopped my etsy shop becuase there was no way to charge enough to make it worth it, which sucks if it's a major revenue stream for them. But I always feel like we need to be making these choices mindfully. If they still choose to use those products, they've chosen and YOU can then make a choice not to buy them.
I'd just be upfront and honest in case they didn't know, and if you know of any alternative outlets for them to utilize, suggest them.
