Huh. Sesame Street is moving over to Netflix.

Hopefully it doesn’t get canceled after two seasons like everything else on Netflix

It'll also be airing same day on PBS stations, so that's a good thing

Netflix cancels grownups shows. Kids shows it will make in perpetuity understanding that it is serving as babysitter for kids (and that kids create a captive subscriber base).

Disney does the same thing, for the same reason. Because most parents are too tired to explain to their smol child how 'Netflix increased the cost per month by three dollars and that's why (insert the child's favorite show) isn't on the TV anymore.'

It also is likely a move to keep Sesame Street going since the current admin is likely going to defund PBS

Netflix's deal for Sesame is interesting in that it is functionally non-exclusive - it sounds like it premieres on Netflix then shows up on PBS and PBS Kids day and date. That's a much better term than what HBO Max did.
