Apparently, Boots likes Mark, well enough. As in, he already let him hold and brush him, etc. ...But he isn't eating.

So he's coming back home, since, uh. That's a problem.

How long was he there? Did he have the same food?

He's been there for close to 24 hours now, and some of the food he's used to was sent off with him.

I would give him more time, since cats...take time to adjust to anything new.

Also treats and things he'll go crazy for food-wise just to get calories.

Mark also apparently ended up with a breathing problem, so there's going to be seeing if that goes away with Boots not there. It's been long enough since he last had cats/kittens that he may have developed an allergy in the intervening years.

Yeah, that is more important.

I feel for Boots. He deserves a home with room for him.

Yeah. Boots' problem might have been solved by determining which cat/kitten might have been best to join him, because he's used to being one of many, so suddenly being an only kitty was probably something of a shock.
