When corporations create and advertise using AI video, there's a vast amount of not-good footage that has to be discarded for a professional result. A 10 second clip might've had hours of generated content.

Is it really worth the cost to our climate? How sure are we that gen AI uses sustainable energy to power the very spendy computing needs?

They are re-opening 3 Mile Island right now to be used for nothing but generating power for AI.
