Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask talk here.
Horrible Goose
I marathoned these, had feelings.

Link always gets the worst fate, not just in the way the mask salesman means. He just gets shit thrown at him again and again.
Horrible Goose
Ocarina holds up pretty well overall, the graphics are dated but the game makes up for it and it has it's own charm.
Horrible Goose
The temples are interesting, and the characters memorable.
Horrible Goose
Impa rocks, Zelda was cool as Sheik, Link coped pretty well for a little kid thrust into an adult body
Horrible Goose
I just feel like there's not much to say about it. It was good!
Horrible Goose
Majora's Mask was by far my favorite out of the two. Body horror central, that's for sure.
Horrible Goose
The screams with the masks were a nice touch.
Horrible Goose
I just felt like the game's repetitiveness did wear on me a bit.
Horrible Goose
Also, the enemies in these games were neat in the sense of size. Some of them were massive.
Horrible Goose
With Ocarina, I really liked the skultula house too.
Horrible Goose
That said, I felt little attachment to any of the characters besides Link in the game. They were fine, but just didn't click for me besides maybe Impa.
Horrible Goose
They're cool, just not stand outs
Horrible Goose
I think the timer in Majora's Mask really added to the feeling of impending dread.
Horrible Goose
The moon kids were kinda neat too
Horrible Goose
Final thoughts were the Great Fairies. Didn't like them, they were my least favorite designs of any of the games so far
Horrible Goose
Although the little ball of light fairies were cute
Horrible Goose
The fairies that make up the Great Fairies for MM weren't a great choice imho either
