I have this tiny group of NPCs and I know you’re thinking ‘Faye you make up the most unnecessarily detailed backstories for your characters with every random person they’ve ever met’
And yes! This is true. In fact this is a point of pride. but see I don’t usually put them on a page which I should do with these?

And guys, their last names generally suck. I have two played OCs that ACCIDENTALLY share a last name (granted from quite far apart).

You don’t even want to know how much browsing through Vikingy Celty names it took me to come up with their first names.

(There’s always SecondChoice-ssen I guess or something like that.)

Tangentially: it’s annoying me that I can’t think of a name for Teddy’s high school emo-y band. As someone who constantly goes ‘ooh that’d make a good band name’ and writes band AUs whenever frickin possible....this is dumb.

That is NOT a thing even slightly on my list though.

I am terrible at surnames though.

Seriously, I just look up common surnames for ...wherever but then all my characters end up like. Well. Roberts. Miller. Or I accidentally ended up giving all Teddy’s band mates ‘could be firstname’ surnames (Zach Cole, Garrett Morgan, Bailey Spencer, lol. I changed Zach’s to Larch and I like it better.)

The best surnames one of my OCs has is Kazmi bc I needed one that wasn’t white af. Bellamy isn’t bad but like. Both of these took ethnic origin hunting and the Solvunn NPCs really don’t require that effort? But I guess if that’s why I’m hedging...
