i'm starting with the tainted cup - it fell at my door when it released earlier this month and i forgor it was a preorder

so far it's neat! it's got a like...attack on titan + innsmouth setup - big fishy monsters from the sea attacking civilization that has big fuckin walls up to slow it down

lots of plant/fungus fuckery and some mutations to boot

i'm only 100 pgs in so its mostly been setup of a murder/assassination plot to destabilize things, but it's moving at a fair pace
short chapters...what a marvel

just finished the tainted cup and it was fun!!!! loved the setting and peculiarities of the world, liked the chemistry between the sherlock/watson expies, the mystery was fun to see unravel
i'm not usually a big mystery person but the setting made it fun
also the monsters are fucked up which is great
