aaaaaaahhhh interview today! and I thought I had fancy pants from when I was a teacher, but it turns out I got rid of them at some point!? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I've also been trying to have the zen attitude of, I probably won't get it, but that is not working right now

it's a tree nursery job, for a state restoration nursery, so kinda close to what I want

(except they only grow conifers, none of the interesting keystone broad leaf species for some reason)

which I may ask them about

but not having to pick ax rocking ass soil anymore sounds amazing at this point

Well, I think that went well. They seemed nice and they seemed happy with my answers and enthusiasm. So here's hoping! I should know, they say, by the end of next week. So I'm assuming I won't hear back until the middle of the week after that, given how slowly government stuff tends to go
