I got a job!!!!! with the state!!! it's technically a 2ish dollar pay cut, but it has benefits!!! it's temp, so I can apply to other jobs and not feel bad about leaving!!!! omg!

I have applied for 3 jobs today after work, with resume and cover letters customized for each. I hate applying for jobs. Someone just, give me a job where I'm working with native plants/ecological restoration projects/etc

Accidentally got lightbulbs that make it feel like you're being blasted by the noonday sun in the middle of a desert. Previous lightbulbs felt too dim, like you couldn't see easily to read by. Now I'm trying to decide if it's because I got 'daylight' white, or if it's because I got really bright ones, or both

honestly what frustrates me about coworker M is that she works at literally one third my speed, while doing things in the most inefficient and ineffective ways, while standing around in view of clients and bosses talking on her phone when I know she can work while taking on her bluetooth, daily just stands around while others work,

coworker M's choice of where to put her phone. which is the top of a gravel pile that two people were actively shoveling from. it is her phone, and it shouldn't bother me what other people do with their own phone, and yet. I do not understand how this person thinks.

I found the most perfect job posting, for ecological restoration including the reintroduction of beavers, that I'm more than qualified for, but the position closed a month ago. I am so sad.

goal for the weekend: rest my shoulder. Because my thumb and pointer finger started tingling, and after researching both carpel tunnel and thoracic outlet syndrome, and doing the tests, it turns out I have the latter! And it's from overuse/being too muscly in a bad way. So gentle stretching, rest, and exercising opposing muscles, gentle.

I am beginning to think that new coworker, M, is subtly/unconsciously checking other peoples' reactions to her boyfriend because I think the boyfriend might be an ass and I think she might be looking (unknowingly? maybe on purpose) outside the circle of people that know him to confirm

How I know the meds are working: looked at the resume that I'd already sent to 5 jobs, and found typos. After I'd checked it over multiple times unmedicated. Sigh

my guts have been doing much better lately ( maybe the change in magnesium, maybe the not drinking mint tea anymore, maybe the meds?
