Considering that in Sims 4, you can create only one playable family in each town, it is the worst one to build from.

Strange, why would they do that if not for something like an online game with other players?

Are they aiming for some kind of Sims Online again?

I mean, subscription or buy once + periodical content additions for money might bring more money than an addon every x months.

It would make sense they were trying to have another Sims Online (or used that as a base). But totally useless when you play alone, and want to raise children to be spouses (or enemies!) later. Or just increase their number of friends to get that next promotion at work.

so I guess they are keeping sims 4 as their main single player game and then whatever is sims "5"/renee is going to be their Sims Online game
