這一段是在講戰車牌

這一段內容有講到幾個重點，第一是question of the sphinx，就是我們熟知的那個「什麼動物早晨用四條腿走路，中午用兩條腿走路，晚上用三條腿走路？腿最多的時候，也正是他走路最慢，體力最弱的時候。」

史芬克斯是比人還要強大很多的生物，因此人類只能靠答對謎題來打敗牠，而韋特在這邊說戰車駕駛答不出史芬克斯的問題

這段也點出了韋特牌與馬賽牌的其中一個差異

眾所皆知塔羅牌最早是作為遊戲牌，而遊戲牌有一個設計重點是所有牌都要能比出大小，才能有輸贏，因此馬賽牌排序的那種階層感會很重，而當馬賽牌轉為占卜用途時，這種一層層往上的感覺被部分神祕學家認為帶有「天梯」(The Ladder of Divine Ascent)的概念。

但是韋特的大阿爾克納並沒有一張比一張大的概念在，韋特的女祭司幾乎是大阿爾克納中最接近神聖的牌了，因此韋特說戰車的駕駛無法回答女祭司的提問，也打不開名為Tora的卷軸

題外話是當初韋特調換了8 & 11的順序也遭致部分神祕學家批評，原因之一就包含了認為此舉破壞了天梯的排序
