3: I mean she was as she is now from pretty early on, to varying degrees. She quickly learned that Dad's approval was harder to come by than Mom's and far more valuable, and she immediately began emulating him to seek it- and she excelled at it.
In all seriousness, there is actually a dire lack of fun in her life. She occasionally does things that are supposed to be fun, tries to win at them, and is mystified why it doesn't work before writing it off as a stupid waste of time.
4: Oh, man. He's gone back and forth on the theft thing a few times, but he almost always centers on "It's only okay to steal the bare minimum he needs to survive." The bigger shift was once he was an adult and his whole relationship with lying about himself versus knowing he was worthy during the original movie.
19: He was always extremely fun, and his playfulness turned stealing food in order to eat from "A soul-crushing exercise in feeling unworthy" into "An entertaining way to stay sane"
