Now I am a bit sad playing Hades II because there is no Ares. Ares by no means is my favourite Greek god, but his boons in the first game are the best.
Ares' boons are great for start and end game. With Pact of Punishment, you can get more wretches during boss fights. Get the boon to get stronger each time you kill an enemy, and boom! You are consistently growing stronger during an encounter.
