I still can't wrap it around my head that apparently in the US(??) probably just the English-speaking internet in general, men are gatekeeping anime from women, and they just can't accept that women can like non-mainstream anime. It's so hilarious. I pulled up Ah! My Goddess and Get Backers card to show that yes, we exist, female anime fans exist.
