Things like: he mocked and belittled victims of natural disasters! (somebody tagged him with "if you're not actively posting about this earthquake we are watching and we will remember this" and he replied "okay")
he sympathises with abusers and belittled victims (when a va in a game he was in got removed for being awful, he said "when there is a new person cast for the role, dont harass them for proximity, ok?")
yeah. his support of kaeluc that set this all off was he retweeted a completely rated G innocent art of them and their baby selves but it had the kaeluc hashtag on it
they have at this point found him using edgy white boy late 00's slurs as a, you know. edgy white boy in 2009. So that was real, but also 15 years ago. So. you know.
yeah he did say the n-word in jokes (iirc in the dipshit edgy white boy way of imitating the way he heard a black person tell the jokes) which was a genuine fuckup it's legit to not be willing to look past but also wasn't like. a history of open hard-core racism. but it was a thing that was Not Ok
I saw the sayu thing and also someone holding up a no-context reply of his to someone going "hey show me an id before I respond" which sounds to me a lot more like "MOTHERFUCKER I AM NOT REPLYING TO MINORS"
I do think that purposefully engaging w/it, arguing w/antis and making jokes that pointedly antagonise them is not wise but I also don't blame him for not just sitting silently while they spread false accusations for literal years and got him banned once already
literally nothing he can do will improve things for him and 99% of it is bullshit and the only actual thing he did wrong was only discovered by someone deep diving to when he was 19 because he unintentionally tweeted art by a kaeluc shipper
so it's like. I don't entirely blame him for a certain degree of saying fuck it and biting back if it at least makes him feel a little better like hooboy
I am working on some sort of Unified Theory of Callouts, which goes along the lines of "the more steps you have to go through between finding somebody saying someone is bad and finding the exact allegation or infraction, the less likely it is to hold any water"
but when you get "he's an awful person! here's proof!" and the proof is a screencap of somebody else saying he's an awful person, and then you go hunt up THAT post and in a reply they tell you the keywords to google to find a youtube video claiming he's an awful person, and then THAT video is 90% other people saying "see? he's awful" and like 3 of his tweets
I think. and I'm sorry to focus on this part but since it happened in front of my salad when I was also in the thick of things, that the best summary of the terrible teenage mindset is they've been systematically trying to ruin Sean's life for 3 years over a hashtag but none of them quit playing the game when the official twitter retweeted ACTUAL ship art
