Happy New Year, everyone! I'm finally back home!

Had a real nice visit with my family, took a few pics which I'll share, the weather was pretty good the whole time, and overall I'm just glad that I went and relaxed a bit!

now gotta play catchup, but that's okay, I have a week before back at work starts

Spent Christmas Eve with my little bro and his husband. They live in a pretty wealthy neighborhood, so we went around looking at the Christmas light displays, and this was the truly crazy one:

we went to the beach on Saturday because the waves there are massive right now, and my little bro proposed to his GF!!

Aww dang! Yeah I was at least in Cali, although we were mostly around the Burbank area Sunday/Monday

and yeah, it was so so sweet! They've been together for about three years, and they're real good for each other, so I'm glad he finally proposed
