they're admitting him and have been planning to since he got there but he's just in so much pain the vascular people and the hospital staff over him aren't being as helpful as they could be

at three pm today they're going to try surgery. he's not been a surgical candidate for the past several years because of the aneurismatic disorder, the renal failure, and his pulmonary issues

surgery is a good plan for relief but it comes with the knowledge that we might lose him because under most normal circumstances he's not a candidate and they would never do it/consider it.

the doctors said they would "do their best" ... they're on their way to surgery now

it's complicated his blood is not traveling or moving just swirling around? the blood is there, but that's it. they're going to have to take the leg.

that's one more surgery and a lot of blood loss the doctor says there's no statistics or historical relevance for it and he's gotta call all of the specialists and everyone he can think of

the doctor isn't sure if this has to do with long term exposure to agent orange and white in Vietnam

but what's happening is apparently unprecedented and that term, "unprecedented," has been used through the years for multiple surgeries
