V/H/S/85 is so good? Best of the entire series. The CLIFFHANGERS. The FILMOGRAPHY. The last TEN SECONDS.

I did like V/H/S/99, but it crossed the fine line separating metatextual self-awareness over to straight-up parody. I do enjoy greatly schlocky slashers and appreciated the solid comedy beats between all the gore, but it didn't fit the tone of previous V/H/S movies.

Viral was so terrible that I stopped watching in the middle of the second short. I might rewatch V/H/S/94 if only for its fantastic final short, The Terror, in which a bumbling white supremacist military group train and prepare for a confrontation with the government. It has a real warm "fascists should all explode, actually" message.
