[D&D] oh thank god we made it to a new town where we're not on a million wanted posters-- "i throw a javelin at the guard"

we were reverse-graverobbing, returning the remains of defeated undead to the cemetery. but to the guard that found my teammates it sure looked like we were doing the digging up

I can Disguise Self so I run up as another guard to distract them, and at least convince several to leave. surely the group can peacefully handle a single guar--nope okay here we go again

i try SO HARD to keep this group from getting in trouble and it NEVER works

Honestly? Next time, let them get in trouble and make it clear to your DM your character vanishes/makes themselves absent before/ during the ruckas lol. Let their actions suffer consequences
