i had an interesting vampire dream

i wish i had time to write it down rn, hopefully i can hold onto details

okay now that i have a moment

basically there was this old town, it kinda seemed like a pilgrim town or something, that sunk into the earth and those that survived ended up being cursed or something

they basically became shadow people that survived on blood, so essentially vampires

they way they work is that if they feed on animals they become more feral, if they feed on humans they become more human-like again

and like over the hundreds of years of whatever that they'd lived down there, because this clearly wasn't like our earth or anything

so they'd formed like a monoarchy, basically, and like only the "royals" and those closest to them were granted the "honor" of feeding on human blood

and in this case its like one specific family that is like bound to them

like the others could feed on humans too but it put everyone at risk and like there was something special about this particular family

okay back from getting distracted

anyway, i'm not sure how the dream got to this point, but like i was the pov and caught the shadow people/vampires coming to feed on this woman whose health wasn't doing so well (because of the feeding i guess, idk) and stepped in and ended up making a deal with them

and then i ended up having to be the one to feed them, there was three; the prince and like his two guards/friends?

and as typical of any ya fiction there was something special about me and blahblahblah, thing get a little steamy/romantic

i don't really remember the rest, i remember something about the prince and his dad getting into an arguement over me, i think it was because i wasn't from that family

as in the family that was bound to the vampires

i remember the prince's guards were like, really annoyed with me/the prince's feelings toward me and prefered the taste of fear in their meal so there was another arguement there since all three of them would feed from me

oh yeah i think i made the deal because i wanted to explore the cave/sucken village that was below the town

cuz like when the village sunk into the ground it was like the earth just swallowed it up, there was land left above and eventually a new town was built

and like somehow i knew the village was down there and wanted to see it up close so that was why i made the deal

but anyway, two images stuck in my head from the dream, the cavern with the buildings in it and three shadow people with glowing white eyes peeking around a corner

like tall, somewhat human shaped (in at least you could tell what was the head and shoulders) but solid black

save for the eyes
