which is GREAT because the only historical inaccuracy that i've ever not liked about an adaptation was in ryomaden where they had takechi make izō into a killer but spun it like he was a very nice guy just trying to look out for izō and cared about him a lot the way they wrote it and the logic didn't match up very well lmao
the way this plot is going it reminds me that i hope that like buddy cop drama where ryouma is running around with hijikata gets fan translated some time lmao
