For Ky, he's just... very closed off. Only one he's open with is Dizzy- he may be friends with Sol but 5 bucks says Sol only knows like. 3% of Ky while Ky knows so much about Sol

For Naoto it was because he is interesting as a character- he's deadass an isekai protagonist in a series where everyone's normal is weird to him
