Plus you just know the whole plotline of a woman who can't have sex ever lest she turn into a violent wild animal who kills people definitely fits his whole.....issues with women.

The fact there was a LOT of B movies made in the 40s and 50s where it was basically the theme of "woman fears she may turns into a monster" really would not have helped all the confusing thoughts he had about sex and women and everything as he was growing up and going through puberty.
