i am not okay. miguel (my furbaby) needed to be hospitalized over the weekend because he ate a toy and can't vomit it back up and hasn't eaten for 3 days and his diabetes is back and xray showed a weird growth and arthritis in hips and the hospital care/tests alone have cost 2000 dollars and if he needs surgery to remove the toy it'll be another 2500 on top

this weekend will just be distracting myself with mindless tv shows and crying

i can do the money but it puts my savings very low and im mostly crying over my baby

why do the things we love get sick and grow old

i'm gonna watch a dumb british tv show now haha

he's out of surgery!! he did well, vet said. she said, "we're not out of the woods yet, but we've given him a good chance."

poor guy will be fed through a tube in his neck for a while and they'll be teaching me how to manage his diabetes at home which my other vet did NOT do (i just had to bring him in)

guess who'll be switching vets to this new one that saved him? me. i will.

she also checked out the growth while she was doing the surgery and confirmed it was just an enlarged galbladder, whiiich will gonna look into but at least it's not like. cancer.

he needs to stay in the hospital probably until wednesday while he recovers and they get him set up with instructions and things but!! he made it through surgery!
