[Books/RP/Silly] I'm listening to Snow Crash and I'm just picturing a character from this book ending up whatever modern day jamjar game and being like "Damn, I'll need to find work. I only had 10 trillion US dollars on me when I showed up here."

For those who haven't read Snow Crash, you should read Snow Crash. But also it's a cyberpunk book set in a time after the US government has collapsed and hyper inflation has devalued its currency the point where billion and trillion dollar bills exist and are pretty worthless.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect it. It's just a funny thought.

Actually now that I think about it it's even funnier if they have that kind of money but it's still worthless because nobody believes it's real money.

"Guess it's back to delivering pizza. What do you mean the cars here don't do 400 miles per hour? How is anybody supposed to get their pizza on time?"

Yeah, the main character is a half-Japanese, half African-American computer hacker samurai who delivers pizza for the Mafia and has a motorcycle that would make Cloud Strife blush.

His name is Hiro Protagonist.

It's that kind of book.
