I'm a 30+ cis bi person working in a high school textbook room in northern California. I was a retail manager for more than a decade and also a theatrical costume tech for seven or eight years.

I love historical fashion, Renaissance faires, garment sewing, art, and good animation.

Spice Blinds : They have a big yard now and are very happy. So happy about it that Shep SCREAMS constantly to go outside but they're not allowed out without supervision lol

I'm much happier than in TX although I do keep running into small things that I had thought were awesome about CA when I was a kid but now that I have to pay taxes and worry about the DMV are... less than awesome

For historical fashion, I think it was a costume history in class. Before that it was all anime and video game cosplay but learning about historical clothing and seeing how those designs get built upon or simplified for fantasy or animation really interested me
