In the morning when I watched YouTube with US VPN, saw 2 Israel ads, not about current war, but about Israel as a country. Some sort of propaganda.
Then at night, we went to Haifa for family dinner. Saw high amount of nationalistic ads on the bilboard along the way, every billboards contains flags.
Then, a sigh of relieve, perhaps for both of Lebanon and Israel citizen, that the televised speech from Hezbollah leader was not encouraging broader war with Israel.
Since IDF announced that they have been around Gaza City parameters, yesterday become the first “quiet” Friday since before October 7. No siren was heard in Tel Aviv. And nation wide, there were fewer sirens also, down to only 34 sirens, where usually there are around mostly 200-300 sirens per day.
One of probably the most controversial news yesterday was the air strike done by IDF towards ambulances convoy. IDF admitted the strike is intentional, and according to IDF the convoy was allegedly used by Hamas to transfer their members outside Gaza. Many people died and wounded in that event.
Blinken visit didn’t produce anything significant yesterday. US now in general, pushing Israel to do humanitarian pause, while --Bibi- Israel gov insisted there will be no ceasefire without releasing all hostages.
It was quite interesting day.
