[Silent Hill] Ascension

I marathoned through the episodes with a friend of mine and man

It's not bad per se, but it's not exactly really... Silent Hill?

Like so far why should the audience care for the characters when they're just moving set pieces?

Only one I remotely care about would be Karl and even then it's more of outside reasons than in-game reasons??? Plus his situation is definitely just. Silent Hill 2 but repainted and reframed poorly

Because hey howdy boy we sure love Silent Hill 2 the Only Good Silent Hill Game To Exist

Anyway I'm going to keep watching this because well? I wanna know w hat happens now and I want Karl to be Okay, and idk for Toblerone to do something I guess?

Still feel like Karl's the odd one out storywise but who knows how his will connect to it all

though I'm guessing his story is more to elevate/expand the world building for Ascension or i'm being extremely generous by assuming so??? idk

Update: this sure does just suddenly start and feel disjointed at points but I am already in this ride and must know the disaster that's gonna unfold

Lasy night's felt a bit less disjointed idk if it's a pacing issue....hrm

I haven't really tried the puzzle games they offer except one but that was a tad boring so I haven't given the other ones a try

They have a frustrating rhythm game too that kept crashing on my friend lol
