The second one is not wrong. If southern states were really about heritage, they would bring back their state flags from -before- the 'civil' war. Also, it can't be about heritage since.... the rebel flag is the N Virginia battle flag - the Confederate flag, iirc, is more or less the same as the Alabama state flag.
