and while it's bleak af it's also on my wishlist because I love how the WCS books are written? And like, they do have good advice in them

yeah, she was at the Whole Earth Festival every year which is like... well we (affectionately) call it the Tofu Hippie Craft And Action Festival

and these guys were one of the things I always saw there as a kid and wanted but never had enough allowance money for them, so then when I was grown with a job I started buying one or two a year and now I've got like eight? I think? Maybe nine

and back at my folks' house they were the Water quadrant of my room, so I'll have to see about that at the new place (I've got a flying pig named Jareth that's the Air quadrant and a just flashy spangle suncatcher for the Fire quadrant)
