sometimes jedao a little bit thinks of Hakkai as like. the Country Bumpkin Fantasy Hero who rises in the world and kills a potentially disturbing number of monsters to his own equally somewhat dubious princess in a tower

hakkai keeps a regular rotation of minimal flavor/high nutrition/acceptable texture food in their kitchen (plain tofu, rice crackers, meringue cookies, protein shakes) and also very much enjoys domestic evenings on the couch knitting or something similar while jedao plays video games
