yes you see it's because it gives her permission to wear them, initially it's so she can sass him, but then it probably doesn't turn out that way, which doesn't solve any problem bc i doubt that is discouraging at all

I was kind of including 'they like each other but they're not together yet' in the new relationship energy umbrella but it depends a lot on execution. it's just that I read a lot of bl so I see a lot of execution that counts imo.

but it's just like "I feel like I'm not learning anything abt the characters through this because they can't fucking learn anything about each other" and then I remember that crush butterflies are a thing that happens and I just forgot about them because I haven't been single in over ten years
