ok what's the new best practice on how to get around yt's anti-adblock shit

I was ignoring all of this and just xing out of the window telling me to turn off my adblocker because it sounded like the workarounds were just an ongoing back and forth.

but now it's like "wah wah we're going to turn off your video player after three videos"

it's hard to say bc I know google/youtube is actively working on circumventing every workaround every 4-5 days

Yeah, someone on the ublock team said that they pushed out a new version just a few hours after ublock origin did

knocks on wood but ublock on firefox doesn't seem to give me any issues with turning off the video player

Ublock, delete your filters, update cache, close browser and restart

Oh yeah and do this on firefox

I use opera...

I CAN use firefox but change is inconvenient

unfortunately, opera runs on chromium, which means that google's changes are gonna be slapping it harder than non-chromium browsers

yea firefox is the only browser not in google's clutches

I made the switch a few months ago and it was worth it
