And there it was in a steep canyon: the "Oasis". In this environment a patch of desert would really be better than whatever oasis is out there. Most of the crew safely left when it was shot down during the battle. Unfortunately the Important(TM) artifact they were carrying wasn't brought out on time.
The cargo bay was blasted open and with a curse of things definitely going worse it was empty. A hand-held tracker for the artifact (conveniently forgotten by the crew) was hung up on a rack. I switched it on...
