Apparently McFarlane wasn't able to get the action figure license and only has the statue license for the Blizzard games. Sigh.

On the one hand, he's a brilliant hypeman and I am envious of his business saavy, on the other hand he's just such a douchebag.

But to be fair, I had this thought a while ago. That if Virtual/Augmented reality were at such a point where I could build near perfect virtual models of my collection, and technology existed that would provide the needed tactility and haptic feedback of playing with the toys, that I would digitize everything and give away the physical toys.

I just imagine having infinite space and being able to move the toys around any way I want. Being able to search for any toy I wanted when I need it. Being able to import dioramas and place any figure I want on that display. Moving entire shelves of stuff to other rooms.

It would be so much more fun than this.
