I noticed that in the Dark Pictures Anthology.... a lot of the actors that did facial mocap, you'll notice their faced popping up in subsequent titles, but sometimes only in side roles with no or barely any speaking parts, and I keep wondering like..... "are you just using a face on file, or are you compensating the actor still??"

to be honest, we also need more governments to crack down on AI usage. Just make it so that AI generated work can't be copyrighted, and that alone is gonna make it much less attractive for big studios etc

Well, I did notice that the production companies finally went back to the table after it was ruled that AI couldn't be copyrighted.

was that a one time thing or a general thing though? and: that's only in the US afaik

The strike hasn't been called yet, but the fact that they CAN call a strike at any moment may, hopefully, help the negotiations.
