drawing has felt fake all day

i HAAAAAAAATE when i sit down to finally have a proper drawing session and then get random family plans sprung upon me

i was SO ready to just sit down and draw for the evening, then suddenly i was sitting in a restaurant with mediocre food having country music on the bluetooth speakers blasting so loud i could barely hear myself think

i had a non-stop headache for two straight days and then the MOMENT i was free from it, GOODBYE PLANS!!!!!!!!! go eat a sandwich that is too salty

i really do not like that restaurant but my family are fond of it because it has a gorgeous view and is right on the water and we really do not have many choices available on this hell peninsula

and every time we go, they have some loud obnoxious music blasting and it is NEVER music i actually like

just sitting next to those speakers for an hour fizzled my brainpower and i'm looking at what i'm drawing in confused disgust because it looks bad

tbf, i didn't really like what i was drawing BEFORE we went to the restaurant either, but at least i wasn't in a slightly annoyed mood at that time

i even asked the waitress to lower the volume and it still felt too loud after it had been lowered

perhaps i simply need to be tucked into bed because i'm being a grumpy pants

DOES ANYONE ACTUALLY LIKE MUSIC PLAYING AT RESTAURANTS, CUZ I SURE DON'T

deletes the drawing i didn't like and lets out a relieved sigh.............. cleansing........

at least i had fun playing splatoon for the first time in awhile before i started trying to draw again.....

also that nearly identical cover of fast car that adds nothing to the original song but is sung by a white man is a scourge upon society (i'm allowed to be hyperbolic while being a GRUMPY PANTS)

i think tomorrow i'll do some studies to get the creative juices flowing again.... britney voice it's been awhile

me today: shotgunned 106 chapters of a webtoon in two days where the main pair haven't even realized they like each other yet as of chapter 106

i think i'm finally free to live my life again and do some drawing since it's still ongoing and there won't be an update until next week HMPH
