Okay! So Good news and bad news!

Good news: My overall trip with my mom was absolutely wonderful.

I got a lot of new manga

and a new Megumi figure!

some of these things were things my mom bought me as a late birthday gift

even got some fancy scented soaps from the farmers market we visited this morning

Bad news:

my cute boots gave me a blister on one of my feet so that's unpleasant.

i also tried to broach the difficult subjects with her once we got to my place.. and then got majorly deflected..

so that made me pretty depressed real fast so i crashed and slept for 3 hours when i was home.

she doesnt realize that her one friend she last really had, sounded like she was in an emotionally abusive relationship.

she told me her friend 'always had to ask her husband if she could do anything' and that they typically always had to hang out at her friend's place.

ugh. i'm just frustrated as hell.

I’m glad you had a good time and was spoiled! How dare those cute boots hurt you! Ugh. The pain to wear cute stuff ;;

Sorry about your mom. and your moms friend. It’s really hard to sit on the other end of the stick in that situation.
