having to waste my entire afternoon clearing up assorted banking messes.

it was just a cascade of errors & nuisance changes from 2 separate institutions making what should have been a seamless ISA top-up well-nigh impossible.

the new government & banking security requirements just made everything worse but weren't really the root cause.

how inconvenient.

now apparently succeeded in transferring the new ISA money into the renewed ISA account. So that's another one I can hopefully ignore for a few years.
