What is the story in this game?

you're the chief in charge of a prison for special criminals with powers called "sinners" because you have this speshul power called "shackles" that can bind them, the "plot" is that one day while the chief is undergoing some procedure one of the more dangerous sinner broke out and caused a situation that freed basically almost all the prisoners except 2

and because like the protag/chief's procedure got cut short, they have partial amnesia

i say partial because sometimes they get flashbacks

there's something about mania corrupting these sinners but it's tl;dr my brain yeeted itself
