20 and 22 for Locus

Locus
20. What's the first thing they want other people to notice about them? Is that what most people actually usually notice?
Oh. Haha.
That he's a no-nonsense, competent soldier. Yes, it tends to be what most people notice about him. At least, of a sorts. It's more like they notice that he's one scary mofo not to mess with. Which is close enough for him.
That said, there are timeline options as well which changes the answer. But from his current timeline in Dup that's it. At least, that's what he thinks he wants. Still sticking with that old tune.
(Of course there's a more involved answer, too, if we analyze his first interactions with Washington but that is, essentially, the gist of it.)
22. Does your character wish people perceived them differently than they do? Do they have any qualities they wish got more recognition? Is there anything about your character's background or personality that they try to hide but can't?
No. (Yes, inwardly a part of him does wish he was perceived differently... but that's because he wishes he was different.)
(That's a whole another can of worms though.)
Other qualities... are not relevant. (He wishes he could be a better person. But he doesn't deserve anything else.)
He hides his softer side from the world. It's weak and pointless and not what a perfect soldier would hold onto. It's counter to what he needs to survive. (He's really good at hiding it. Until he's absolute rubbish at it.)

Part of me wants to hug him.

Poor baby.

Would it be greedy of me to ask for 1 and 10 for your Reno even if I've never played against him?
wrt Reno I tried playing him on memes back when I first met you but I failed. orz

Reno
1. How aware is your character of their thought processes? Do they think about why they do what they do (however accurately)? Do they care about self-analysis?
Wait, thoughtful provoking questions for the wild Turk? Haha.
I think he's acutely aware of his own thought processes and why he does the things he does, he just prefers to simplify things outwardly so others can't catch onto that fact.
He's very spontaneous in the moment but when there's idle time and he has nothing else to do but think, he will. And he doesn't always like to but it happens anyway.
There are times when it doesn't matter (his love for the Turks and loyally serving Shinra because of them) he'll happily reveal to anyone even if he should keep his mouth shut (see: AC).
Other times he wishes he wouldn't think about the things he's done (see: the Sector Seven plate fall). But he does have a conscious and he does have reasons for ignoring it whenever it's necessary.
10. Are there any values or beliefs your character espouses but doesn't live up to?
This fits well with the other question, doesn't it. However, I don't think there are any that he adopts that he doesn't live up to.
I think there are values that he admires that he doesn't see in himself to enact, and won't try because they counter everything he's made himself into, so they are believes he does not follow.
The ones he adopts are loyalty and determination (to get the job done no matter the consequences). To steal the Jenerit motto: "Any deed, any price." That's what Turks do.
Reno is very loyal to a fault and that's the way he goes about it.
As for values he looks up to, mmmmaybe he thinks "doing the right thing" is kinda admirable but it's not for him. He's no hero. He's the guy that gets the job done no matter what it is. If that's helping people, then all the better. They were meant to enforce rules that would better society in the first place, it just means sometimes doing bad things.
In other words, Reno likes helping people... he just doesn't get to do it in the obvious manner and that's fine with him.
