she's a bit of a shitty person, but I mean. I'd be worried if she wasn't.

"parents who control every part of your life down to what you can and can't enjoy and will literally chain you up for having the audacity to ever show the slightest hint of resistance + witnessing an unholy eldritch abomination brutally massacre everyone you've ever known" isn't the sort of childhood development that produces healthy people.

and I'm pretty sure the only reason she's not absolutely insane is because she hyper-fixated on killing said unholy eldritch abomination. Which unfortunately means she has all of like two brain cells left to run the show so this girl can be obscenly reckless. Like, "you are not the anime protagonist, this will absolutely get you killed" reckless.
