It’s the requiring IDs that has me truly concerned. That’d be the breaking point for me and, by the sounds of it, many others. No I’m not uploading my government ID online, especially for a site owned by that guy.

as opposed to a one-time authentication check, heavily encrypting only the data that needs stored, and deleting everything else - assuming the data is needed for something reasonable in the first place, which...I doubt
