Anyway so far it's very Stardew Valley, just co-op. You get your little plot of land to clear, you gotta gather materials to build your tent.

There's hunting and fishing, things I am Very Bad At, the NPCs are all cute.

The character customization options are great, you get to send mail to people.

This will be 300 times more fun when friends can play too, but so far it's been fun.

Game seems to deliberately avoid punishing players for not playing. Crops don't die if you fail to water them, their growth just halts.
