alan knows about the museum and knows his books are in the gift shop because it's something i already established via mention in the book club post, but IDK if he's walked through all of it. he probably would have just gone to see what was up in his and scratch's at first and not poked around the rest yet

anyway, i will continue with this endeavor even if just for my own satisfaction in the end

plot twist i use this all as essentially a portfolio piece to reapply to the museum i used to work at but as a member of the exhibits team instead of as a security officer

BACK TO BEING ON TOPIC - so the floor plan doesn't communicate it much except in certain areas where i wanted to add the details

BUT there are going to be a lot of illusion/forced perspective walls happening here

since i think that's a fun bit and since Scratch's exhibit is supposed to be a warped mirror of Alan's it can BE THE OPPOSITE where it's flannel alan and then becomes Scratch in the suit hugging and kissing Alice when she enters the frame

i thought that the trashed apartment would be an interesting set for alan's return to the dark place segment, although... now that I'm reflecting on it none of the sets involve the office/study in bird leg cabin so maybe i will change it

i was mostly going with the trashed apartment in the Dark Place as a callback to the signal/writer dlc parts buuuut the cabin interior should happen somewhere and my other option for it was set 1 but i think a void works better for that (I'd so something more like alan's childhood bedroom growing up but that would be 100% headcanon set design)
