idc if people buy things on these cheap sites if they're gonna use them; I've bought random shit on aliexpress etc but y'all don't buy stuff you're gonna put on your face or in your mouth.

everything on there you can find on aliexpress and from sellers with reviews you can check

honestly my thing is that we dont know where this is stuff is made, particularity the makeup - most of it that i've seen doesnt even have ingredients on it

yeahhhh I would not buy makeup from a non-brand

also the whole influencer shop haul mentality is ughhhhh i hate it so very much

it's all made in china and factory conditions can vary wildly

they did an undercover on one of the shein clothing factories not too long ago and it was awful

and to produce so many products and sell them that cheap, they're definitely exploiting cheap labor

idk how many times i've gone on tiktok and seen people harassing small business owners like "you're too expensive i can get this way cheaper on alliexpress/whatever"

capitalism is a mistake!!!

like OF COURSE the big company is going to be cheaper than the independest seller who makes their own stuff by hand like COME ON

I mean I get being sad about the prices of small businesses because I want their stuff but can’t swing that price but I wouldn’t ever dream of harassing them for it

It’s priced that way for a reason and I just need to wait for a sale or suck it up

i've looked into the pin making process because i kind of wanted to do my own thing for a bit but honestly its super expensive, you get very little money out of it unless you're one of the larger creators and the entitlement that people have towards them is incredible
