idk what thrilling possibilities monstermas will hold but I am thinking i will come up with a couple diff fun combos to play around with to cover my bases because variety is the spice of life
vin and i have already been talking about how fun it would be to have all of the pre-monster CR shenanigans of people meeting either scratch or alan first without any context that they're both there, and then running into the other later, thinking it's the same person and the subsequent delight (scratch) or oh fuck (alan) that will ensue

either way, it would involve having casting calls and some of the night springs charm is also how low-budget home video they are so production value wouldn't be an issue

YEAH HER COMBO IS SO HYPE TO ME - I'm working the angelic dragonoid route, and keeping her mostly humanoid with a few like, big key feature changes (deciding on which ones with my design buddy lol). There's just so much you can do with Garg/Neph........
also it doesn't last the whole movie unfortunately but in the opening they made frankenstein's creation look true to how he's described in the original source material (the long dark hair, having a handsome face b/c frankenstein was trying to create the perfect man, etc.)
went to consider the job advertisements again, esp since the broadcasts seem more like a part-time gig, torn between throwing alan at paddy's b/c he's got the temperament for it or the cat cafe b/c alan would probably be like "if i can get all i can drink coffee while working, i'll take it"
(alan, based on the timeline in his canon history, does not seem like he had a rent gig around his work as a writer so i firmly believe he hasn't worked customer service a day in his life)
(there is supposedly somewhere a mention he briefly worked a graveyard security job as writing research though, however i'm strugglin to find the source for that rn)
made a thing because i want to have somewhere to put alan's writing that he does for ryslig things somewhere and also ease of reference for alan's writing for my own benefit and whoever else wants to peruse it
i have to do a lot of copy/paste from the alan wake files so that'll come later for errand boy and return to sender, which are a higher priority than the other stuff that has full transcriptions on the wikis
also Michael posted a job ad for the casino and I'm over here like "would alan try to work there? would alan be allowed to work there because michael has been talking to scratch on the network? would alan use a fake name if it came down to it thanks to scratch being a little shit or would he stubbornly use his name anyway?"

I dunno if Alan would read into it that much, since in some places in america (esp the south) it's relatively common for kids and teens to refer to adults that aren't teachers but are still close and respected figures in their lives as "mister/miss/mrs (first name/handle)", but that is fun to know anyway!

thinking about things in ryslig that i want to interact with but currently alan has no reason/motivation to interact with them (cough lottablog college cough), already looking at my muse list for characters to test drive who would interact with those elements of the game
